Tree of Light 2025

Can you believe it…this year we’re launching our 17th annual Tree of Light campaign?! AND…in 2025, we have not one, not two but THREE real life switch-on events! We hope you can join us.

The huge tree outside of St. James by the Park Church, (Shirley) one of the beautiful pines in the Woolston Millennium Garden and a large donated tree at St. Mark’s Church, Archers Road, will be covered in hundreds of sponsored Christmas lights to commemorate loved ones and special causes. These will be lit up by Monday 8th December:

Sun 16th Nov, 5.00pm – St. James by the Park Church (memorial service from 3pm, refreshments and lights switch on from 4pm).

Sat 6th Dec, 5.30pm – St. Mark’s Church, Archers Road (event including crafts, refreshments and carols from 4.30pm)

Sat 6th Dec, 5.30pm – Woolston Millennium Garden (carols led by The Rising Stars from 5.00pm). Bring a lantern if you’d like to!

The names of those being remembered will be published in our remembrance book and on a dedicated page on our website. We would love for you to send photographs, short poems/verses or a tribute for inclusion in the book. Please email digital copies, or attach them to your sponsor form and return to us at 6 Northlands Road, Southampton, SO15 2LF. We will do our best to return hard copies to you, dependent on you providing a stamped and addressed envelope.
