One in three older people are affected by loneliness – that means someone on your street may not have spoken to anyone in days. Can you help?
We’re a friendly neighbourhood charity, enriching the lives of people in need in our local communities through befriending and practical help services. We’re now expanding in Shirley and are looking for more volunteers to join us.
Whether you can spare an hour a month, or several hours a week, by befriending a neighbour through our scheme or offering practical help your support could vastly improve the lives of someone in need. All you need is a kind heart and common sense.
Join us at one of our drop in sessions for free tea, toast and cake and have a chat about how you could get involved in our work to enrich the lives of people in need in your local community.
