Tree of Light 2018 Round-up

We just wanted to post a huge thank you to everyone that sponsored lights on our 2018 Tree of Light in Woolston.

The total raised was £1,435 (including Gift Aid). A fantastic result that will go a long way towards helping those in need across Southampton, via our small local charity.

Thank you also to the Mayor of Southampton, Cllr Stephen Barnes-Andrews for coming to switch on the lights; The Rising Stars for leading us in Christmas Carols; Spectrum Signs & Workwear Ltd. for donating publicity materials; Woolston Traders Association for our publicity stand and a fab Woolston Festival; the Woolston Millennium Garden Team for allowing us use of the garden and tree and to The Daily Echo for all the support with fundraising and publicising the event.

We are incredibly lucky and grateful to be supported by so many generous people and organisations.
