Tree of Light Switch on…
So, the day we’d all be waiting for – Tree of Light switch on day! On Saturday afternoon, residents sang Christmas Carols together lead by the Rising Stars before the Mayor of Southampton, councillor Stephen Barnes-Andrews, switched the lights on. Our Manager, Annie told the Echo, “It’s always a wonderful part of our year and for lots of people it marks the start of the Christmas season. It’s a light shining across the City and reminds us how important it is we are here as lights in our community.”
