CommuniBakes helps those struggling

CommuniBakes, on 21 St James Road, Shirley, Southampton is helping those out there who might be struggling.

Anyone visiting the bakery can do their bit for their neighbours in the community by purchasing vouchers for loaves of bread or cakes and other sweet or savoury treats.

The vouchers are then pinned onto the wall in the bakery and people who need it, can select one and cash it in at the till. At the end of each month, any unclaimed vouchers will be collected and donated to us so we can disperse them among our service users in the community.

We think it is a fantastic idea – do remember to purchase a voucher if you can.
