Friendship group for those seeking socialisation

People in Southampton who are seeking friendship and socialisation can attend our next friendship group in partnership with Saint Mary’s Church and St Mary’s Primary School on Ascupart Street this month (March 2023).

People of all ages invited

Our next intergenerational friendship group takes place on Monday, March 20 from 10am-12noon at St Mary’s Primary School and we’re inviting people of all ages to come along.

We would really encourage anyone out there, particularly if they are feeling lonely, to give it a go and come along, as it’s a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends.

Benefits everyone

Pupils from the school will also be in attendance, as we have found that having attendees from across the generational divide benefits everyone. It’s great for youngsters from the school to meet older folk and gain wisdom and a different perspective on life. It’s also beneficial for older people to connect with younger generations and learn new things.
