Are You Kind Hearted? Then Join Our Team Supporting Vulnerable People With Regular Check-in Phone Calls

We’re looking for kind-hearted people to volunteer as part of our ‘Hello Southampton’ team supporting vulnerable people with regular check-in phone calls.

Could you regularly give one hour a week, between 9am and 1pm Monday-Friday? In this time you could help up to five people feel less lonely, and reassure them that someone is looking out for them. You will need access to a phone and internet.

The feedback we’ve had from clients has been fantastic and shows the real difference a regular phone call can make to someone:

“It makes my day”… “It’s something to look forward to”… “It’s been a lifeline for me”…”I was closed in – it’s someone to talk to, a great help to me.”
