Chat Together group at Valentine Primary School

We’ve launched a NEW GROUP with Valentine Primary School on Mondays, monthly in term time, 1.15-2:45pm. We’ll be joined by St Mary’s Church Sholing and would love for you to join us!

Jim and Chris (in the header photo), who are regular members of our Woolston Friendship Club went recently to help start a new multigenerational club at Valentine Primary School called ‘Chat Together’.

Chris is pictured playing ‘What am I’ at Woolston, and they were delighted to play it again, with Year 5s at Valentine school.

Jim said: “It was an extremely lovely and memorable two hours. The children were adorable and we all shared lots of laughter while playing games. The staff made us welcome and all I can really say is…… you missed out on a treat!”

We’re looking for seniors from the Sholing area who would like to join us at ‘Chat Together’, as it is very good for the children to have older people to interact with. It builds their confidence and their communication skills, as well as building understanding and mutual appreciation between the generations.
