CommuniTea Coffee Mornings

Free weekly drop-in community coffee mornings for all ages in Weston!

Communicare and Southampton Children’s Play Association (SCPA) have organised free and informal CommuniTea events for both adults and children. The coffee mornings will be weekly on Thursdays from 10am until 12pm at Weston Adventure Playground, Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton.

The CommuniTea events will run on a drop-in basis. They’ll include free tea and cake and lots of optional fun activities. The event is open to everyone in the community but children must be supervised by an adult. Anna Roberts, Play Development Manager at SCPA says: “It’s great to be working with Communicare on our CommuniTea coffee mornings. This is a great opportunity for people to meet and chat over drink and slice of cake. This is especially important for parents and children who haven’t had access to their usual support groups in the past couple of years. However we’re also keen to have all generations attend and socialise together. We’re excited to see how volunteers help develop and shape the events in the coming weeks and months, as more people sign up to offer assistance.”
