Help our vulnerable clients get their vitamin D – could you donate us some Ready Brek sachets?

May sound like a strange request but read on…Our next postal project will involve posting our 600 clients a sachet of Ready Brek which is fortified with vitamin D. Studies have shown that we are all at risk of vitamin D deficiency, especially during the winter.

Naturally we aren’t allowed to post our clients vitamins, but encouraging them to add a fortified cereal to their diet will hopefully make them more aware of the benefits of vitamin D at this crucial time.

If you are able to donate us a box (must be sachet type please to put in an envelope) we would be very grateful as it will help us keep the cost of the mailing low. To arrange drop off at our new office in Amplevine House please email volunteer@communicareinsouthampton.org.uk. (We have tried contacting suppliers for donations but this has not proven fruitful.)
