2023 AGM & Annual Report

The 2022-23 AGM is now complete. We had a wonderful time, gathering to discuss what we’d achieved this year and approve the figures and accounts. Thank you so much to County Bowling Club in Northlands Rd, for hosting us – what a wonderful venue, set in beautiful grounds!

Thank you also to all of those that came. It was so lovely to see all of you and share in some delicious cake from Communibakes Bakery.

Barrie & Annie shared in thanking Carolyn Renault for her long service as a trustee and line manager to Annie. Carolyn is retiring as a trustee this year but still intends to be fully involved in Communicare’s activities, particularly in regards to fundraising.

We were delighted to welcome Debbie Burns as a new trustee. Debbie has a wealth of knowledge on the charity sector and will be a huge asset to the team. Barrie was also re-elected as a trustee. He may a short statement as to why he loves Communicare in Southampton and ended with “Its a family to be a part of”, which we just love!

A small group went for a walk around Southampton Common afterwards – it was such a lovely sunny afternoon.
