Bond event is fundraising galore for us

Attendees at a James Bond-themed event helped raised £2,300 for us recently (September 2022).

The event was organised by We Love Your Office at the Lysses Hotel in Fareham and included a three-course meal, entertainment, raffle and silent auction.

Patrick McShee, Managing Director at We Love Your Office, said: “We have held two major events for various charities in the past and this time we decided to host one in aid of Communicare, which is the adopted charity of our business network group.

“The event was a huge success, with a Bond look-a-like, a casino, dinner with entertainment as well as a raffle and silent auction. We’re thrilled at the amount raised on the night and know it will go a long way towards helping Communicare with the work that it does.”

We Love Your Office and Communicare are members of the BNI Liberty Southampton, which is a non-for-profit Southampton business networking organisation which meets weekly.

Tricia Kenyon, our Service Development Officer, attended the event and said: “The evening was great fun. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time and contributed very generously.”

We are extremely grateful to Patrick and We Love Your Office for hosting the event for us and any amount raised really helps us provide much needed services for the lonely and isolated people in the city.
