CommuniTea update – call for partners and drivers

Last week, Tricia visited our longest standing multi-generational project, CommuniTea, which takes place in the Community Room at Weston Adventure Playground.

People of all ages gather to connect around varied activities and refreshments, which provides a great source of connection and belonging to people in Weston.

The club is undergoing change at the moment, since Southampton Community Play Association closed.

We are looking for a new partner and are reaching out to local schools and also need another community group to come on board. We were also missing three of our senior ladies last week due to a volunteer being unable to take them there.

Reducing isolation is a lifesaving contribution and volunteers gain so much fulfilment from their part in that.
