Gardeners asked to grow plants for us

Greenfingered folk from Southampton are being asked to sow extra seeds, take cuttings and grow on plants to sell in aid of us.

We are hosting a plant sale in April at our community bakery, CommuniBakes at 21, St James Road in Shirley on Saturday, April 29 from 10am until 12.30pm and are asking for donations of plants, which will be sold to raise money to help vulnerable and isolated people in the city.

Get sowing and growing!

We’re very excited to be able once again to host our annual plant sale at CommuniBakes, with all money raised going towards furthering the work we do to help vulnerable and isolated people in Southampton.

We’re asking anyone out there who might be currently sowing or growing to please sow or plant a few extra for us and donate them to our sale. They can be dropped at CommuniBakes on the day of the event from 8.30am.

The sale will take place at the back of the bakery and will include a variety of houseplants and garden plants. People will also be able to pick up a sweet or savoury treat from CommuniBakes if they wish to as well.
