Project Development Officer

40hrs per week. £28,500 pro rata (FTE 40hrs). 3 months fixed term contract.

COMMUNICARE is a church supported social outreach charity working across the city of Southampton. We seek to serve the vulnerable in our communities by providing practical help and friendship for local people. The charity links volunteers to those in need, offering a variety of practical help and emotional support.

As Project Development Officer you will:

• Undertake consultation & research with stakeholders
• Develop plans & strategies
• Produce reports & action plans
• Recruit & retain volunteers
• Organise & deliver training
• Ensure good practice & legal compliance in new ventures
• Develop & support ongoing partnerships with other organisations
