Southampton Marathon – JR & Vicky
Our Coordinator Vicky and husband JR are running to raise awareness of our work here in Southampton. They’re both ‘simply hoping to finish’ the 10k but we know they’ll do great! JR says he usually listens to podcasts whilst running and loves the atmosphere of running in big events such as this. He volunteered for Communicare a few years ago, visiting an elderly man who spoke French and reading him a French newspaper. He felt it made a difference not only to his life but also to his wife’s.
