Tree of Light 2023
We’re thrilled to announce our 15th annual Tree of Light campaign and that we have two real life switch-on events coming up. We hope you can join us!
One of the beautiful pines in the Woolston Millennium Garden and a large donated tree at St. Mark’s Church, Archers Road, will be covered in hundreds of sponsored Christmas lights to commemorate loved ones and special causes. These will be lit up by Monday 4th December:
Sat 2nd Dec, 5.30pm – Woolston Millennium Garden (carols led by The Rising Stars from 5.00pm). Bring a lantern if you’d like to!
Sun 3rd Dec, 5.30pm – St. Mark’s Church, Archers Road (event including crafts, refreshments and carols with HAMWIC Brass Band from 4pm)
The names of those being remembered will be published in our remembrance book and on a dedicated page on our website. You may send photographs, short poems/verses or a tribute for inclusion in the book. Please email digital copies, or attach them to your sponsor form and return to us at 6 Northlands Road, Southampton, SO15 2LF. We will do our best to return hard copies to you, dependent on you providing a stamped and addressed envelope.
To sponsor a light (suggested minimum donation of £8 each):
