We joined church and school to host multi-generational WW2 themed party

We recently (March 30, 2022) joined with St Patrick’s Church and School in Woolston to hold a multi-generational WW2 themed party.

Tricia Kenyon, Service Development Officer at Communicare, says: “It was great to get the generations together, as this is so important for wellbeing. The year six children at St Patrick’s School have been studying the war in history and sang some songs and dressed in clothes from the period.

“Children from the school served the older guests tea and sat with them looking at wartime memorabilia provided by the Memory Box Foundation. It was heartwarming to see them enjoying the connection.”
